A walk around the Robie House, over the front porch, through the courtyard, up the servant steps, around-out the autogate, and back by the dumpsters.

  • @youngdoggie U.S. > the World, therefore, greatest in U.S. = greatest in World

  • c...c...can we go in? lol. I've been in love with the Robie house since I first laid eyes on it in my architecture magazine when I was 13...imagine my dismay when I find out it was 4 hours from where I used to live. I now live a bajillion miles away :( I physically get butterflies when I see it, it's just so magnificent. There are some things that I'd change of course but goodness...there's not much TO change...

  • thank you so very much for showing everything from the door knobs to the effect of the bold exterior elements on the human size... much appreciated however never will I be able to experience such a space merely through a camera lens...

  • I walked this very same path many a time. I worked at Robie House form 2000- 2006
