Rio's Reisser perform "Zauberland" (Magic land) @ Benefit concert in KOZ (Kommunikationszentrum), Studierendenhaus, Goethe University, Mertonstr. 26-28, Frankfurt am Main, Germany. „Zauberland" was written by Rio Reiser aka Ralph Möbius (music, ex-Ton Steine Scherben) and Misha Schöneberg (lyrics) and appeared on the 1990 Rio Reiser solo album „Rio ***". It was the second single release from the album (7" and 12").
The benefit concert against privatization and in favor of the preservation of historic buildings such as „Philosophikum", (Gräfstrasse, built in 1959 by Ferdinand Kramer to be used by Humanities faculty) and „Studierendenhaus" (Mertonstr. 26-28, home of the Asta - Allgemeiner Studentenausschuss a.o., built in 1953 by Otto Apel for the development of democratic initiatives on campus) on Goethe University's original Bockenheim campus took place on September 12, 2010, the „Day of the open memorial" („Tag des offenen Denkmals"). The original Bockenheim campus is supposed to be taken over by the Conservatory which intends to use the „Studierendenhaus" exclusively for their own purposes, not to be used by student groups and ethnic associations of all sorts.
