  • hi nice video thought it would help but my extensions like the parts do extend all the way back so i have to like line up all the holes so i can drop the screw down and screw it in but im having great trouble the desk im trying to assemble is called 802c please help

  • @DGxManBearPig1

Not knowing exactly what the issue is I'd like to say that your case reminds me of an assembly job that I had in which it seemed that unless I had three hands it would be impossible- my solution was using a glue gun to "quick hold" the slides in place and after a few tries it worked quite well- the first few attempts, not so much, but just a dab of hot glue held the slides so I could get the screws in place.

  • Nice video! Everything that people have said - clear, concise explanation of a nearly idiot-proof system. Problem is, the Universe will just build better idiots, but I'm sure you've come to expect that. Anyway.....

Thanks for your effort and the opportunity to learn something!

Thanks, it seems that I have a running commentary whenever I do anything- always thinking - Is there a better way?

  • the music is really annoying

  • @OnRappel

Dude, I'm really sorry, if I could go back and eradicate it, I would. The problem was that it sounded so much softer in the headphones. Hindsight is 20-20..

  • Great video - thanks. I notice you used spacer blocks to elevate the slides up a few inches on the sides. Any reason not to just mount the slides along the bottom of the case, with no spacer blocks? Seems like that could make the process one step simpler.

  • Excellent video nice and clear. Could you kindly show how to attach the front piece? greetings from México

  • One nasty trick with those "full extension" slides, is the hole has to be perfectly parallel with exactly half inch clearance on each side. Otherwise they will bind or even "jump the rails" when you open it. I found that out the hard way.

  • Guess if I'd watched all of the tape before writing I would have "got it".

  • You're the first one who's explained it well. I could never figure out how you'd know where or how to line up the slides in the cabinet to the drawers. Now, what's the story with those stiles? Did you measure the depth of the inside of the space from where the frame is from the space?&*)#%@? I'm still so confused and I need to do this with a couple of HEAVY drawer in a chest. Alice I have the heavy duty thingys but need to know how to do it. Thank, you're the best!

  • I have no doubt that you are highly skilled and that your information was spot on. I cannot sit through the music.
