Ugh, this guy sucks. The bowings should utilize your elbow more way more then your wrist. Also, the bow should mimic the curve of the bridge as you see it. So to someone watching you play, it should sortof look like a small smiley face. Or at least, thats how i was taught. It definatley shouldnt be completeley parralel, dipshit.

how to play the Cello: GO TO A FUCKING TEACHER, and don't be surprised if you have to play the open strings over and over for a month. (and it goes to the guy on the video too)
If you don't play it properly, it gonna sound horrible, and anyone who can play it they practiced for decades.

By the way to position of the bow varies depending on what tone you want for a particular pice of music. Also It shouldn't be completely parallel.

no. it goes cgda. c is lowest. ( its on the right) g is next up. d is next. a is next. if you dont know how to play the cello, contact me. i have some good stuff i have used previously in igsma contests that should work for both of the beginner and expert. and whatever you do, dont listen to this guy. the cello is WAY out of tune. im suprised the a string didnt break. sounds like a viola.
