You think spandex is strange?! Holy shit! What about Marilyn Manson and his fucking fake tits? Now THAT'S strange! More like just plain retarded if you ask me. Yeah, the bright colors were weird and I always just had long hair (still do) and wore jeans and t's. Like I do now. But the rockers wore some rather outrageous stuff. All genres of music have their fashion statements. Grunge had plaid. I did bands like Metallica though (before Napster) who wore whatever they wanted.
