hey guys!!
My cousins and I made this road trip last summer and we could not stop listening to this tune, singing along in the car!! that was ace!! So as a reminder I recorded this bass cover, just for fun!
It has a really creative bass line when you pay attention to it. I found out that almost 100% of bass tabs one can find on the internet are completely wrong, most of them simply follow the lead guitar... anyway, I think you have here a pretty decent version of the bass line! I hope this will help some of you out there! ;)

WoW! Not everyone's got the ear to pull out that bass line, but you did. Congrats! And the slides! I agree with you it's got amazing arrangements, that song rocks forever! I think The Verve tried to do something like that (listen to the strings) with Bitter Symphony.

@Psychowiszy @hottman21 - I don't know what you two are referring to. This sounds like the standard tuning for the song, it's not a half-step up at all.
@sinclair61 - the bass is in tune with the song.
This song is in F minor, same as this recording. Nothing wrong with it at all.

@sinclair61 indeed it is. Actually it's perfectly tuned but the song must be tuned to something else than the usual one, hence the difference... a shame I realized that after I uploaded the video! :'(

Very very good interpretation. Only one comment. Maurice Gibb played the song with a pick, not with slap. You would achieve a much sharper sound if you could give it a try !!

@tutankamongr Thanks mate! :-) I didn't notice it was initially played with a pick but anyway I'm no good with that so... but watch out I'm not slapping here! only fingerstyle! ;-)
