Don't hear this as an attempt to convert to a religion; instead recognize Nick's similarities to ours. His handicaps are obvious (visible on the outside) where some of ours are hidden (inside). Both kinds are debilitating, but I believe the hidden kind are often more so because we ourselves can deny them. Nick reminds us that we must daily continue to make conscious choices that cause what we have been given to be 'worth' something for Eternity by gifting it as Love For Someone Else. YEAH!!
