what's the supply voltage and voltage on each LED. What's the color of your LED.

I got mine from JacksBargainBin and in 660NM which is the range you want to flower in.

These videos are brilliant. I am glad i saw them before i began my led grow light project otherwise i would have kept burning out my leds. I dont have a clue about electrics but am gathering info to make a high powered led lamp. Could you help me with some information on how i would go about starting next time your not busy. I am unsure of many of the names of things i need. I know i need 3w leds in red and blue and the plug part of a pc and some fans but not sure what else and how to combine.

i see your running this on a computer power unit, how much volt os coming out of those?how many leds does a computer power unit run?

yes, but normaly it doesnt require cooling? cuz im growing with my 5w led a month or so, it didnt melt or overburn, its working great, cant wait for my 10mm leds to add.
but yes, 10mm is from plastic, it could melt..
if you take a look at 3w or 5w light bulbs, they dont have no cooling in it, right? :) but cooling may be good for flowers wich is grown with leds. :)
im not using right now, im waiting for them arrive.. :)
there will be 50 LEDs on 100ma and 100 LEDs on 25ma
ok, so for 25ma i will use yellow violet black resistor
and for 100ma i will use brown red black resistor
thank you about fan advice...
without u i would be lost :D
hmm, but i cant understad - why for 5w and 3w LEDs is not required fan, but for 10mm leds is...

thats ok if u need any more help just ask
u will have to wire them up 3 leds per string and then a resistor so u need 1 resistor per 3 leds
the 3w's do get very hot im using a large heat sink 3 kgs of ali and 4 pc fans and they run at about 60c
