White Eyed Conure Playing

This is me trying to get my white eyed conure, Mocha, to be friendly and play. If the sound works, you can hear Mocha and I chatting a bit. I mainly made this video for my mom so it's terribly boring.

Mocha is a mean, mean bird and it is rare for him to be this calm.

how old is she?? i have a male white eyed conure and hes almost 2 yrs old. he doesn't talk.. he only makes noises.

Mocha's about 7 or 8 years old... we can't remember if we got him in 2001 or 2002. We got him at 10 weeks old and spoke to him like he was a human, so he picked up quite a bit very fast... I'd say his vocabulary consists of 50+ words and phrases.

Just start talking to your birdy, a lot, repeating the same things and applying it to his every day life... he'll learn! Mocha to this day still picks up new things. :)

Hi, i am Brazilian and there's a bunch of this birds flying all day here over my city. I also have one in my home, and when a flock fly near, my conure start noisy alot. Here he likes more of my father and my mother, he is a biter with me and my sister. He is too much speeker and lacking.

I heard you mention she can be a biter? I have one just like her, it's a male and he's about 3. He is sweet but I can't get him to stop being a biter no matter what I do. I am patient and I am also a good flock leader but no go. Maybe it's just the way he is. I sure love the little guy! Great video!

how cute:) Gidget, my wec refuses to talk "human." If I repeat something to her over 2x, she runs up to bite my nose (or whatever else she can find) It's not HER fault I don't speak "Gidgie!"
