Runes of Magic - DoD - Rogue & Priest duo on Isiltir

Runes of Magic gameplay footage of a rogue/knight and a priest/mage duo killing the first boss of the Dungeon of Dalanis instance in normal mode. This boss is mostly done with a group of 5 or 6 people which exists of a tank, 4 dps, and 1 healer.

Player info and classes:
Hotlikehell (62 Rogue / 56 Knight) who does the damaging and tanking.
Jantrax (62 Priest / 55 Mage) who does the buffs and healing.

DoD boss 1 tactics:
The rogue stays near the boss while the priest stays pretty far away to avoid the most damage. This instance boss has several spells which can be pretty anoying. For example the boss will cast a spell with the name "leap". When ever he casts this, a big black cross will appear on the ground. Players who stand nearby or on it will be instantly one hitted by the boss. So run away fast whenever you see it close to you.

This DoD boss also has several area of effect (aoe) spells which do pretty much damage. That's why the healer and the ranged damgagers (dps) should stay as far as possible from the boss. Specially look out for the sharp slash spell. In this video you can see that the rogue gets hit by it several times and almost dies because of that. It takes a lot of hitpoints, so be aware and keep your distance!

on the RoM classes guide it says rogues can use 1h swords but not daggers, is this correct? if not what equipment CAN a rogue use? thanks ;]

@Ane385 Hehe, yeah they often call it dps. So your right :-). But I prefer to call it "Damager" in the video then call someone a "Damage Per Second". Damager sounds more like a job ;-).
