Americans enjoy an almost unparalleled level of freedom when compared to virtually all other countries in the area of home education. In order to give hope to many and strengthen existing freedoms, the first ever global home education conference is scheduled for November 2012 in Berlin, Germany.

The conference will bring together parents, policymakers, professors and politicians to explore the opportunities and obstacles confronting the global home education movement.

The goal: a significant impact on education policy in favor of homeschooling.

they just teach you lies in schools anyway. last week my oldest came home from school and claimed to know now how thunder "really" occurs. he started babbling about collapsing magnetic fields and other nonsens. can you imagin how shocked i was. took me a while to convince him that he's been lied to, and that it is of course mighty Thor and his hammer who causes thunder.
