This is my second test with my new Canon HF S10.
Shot in 50i and Deinterlaced to 25p (with JES Deinterlacer) to obtain a slow motion sequence. That guy is my brother, who sacrifices himself for my video experiments :)

Music from "Into The Wild Score" by Michael Brook.

Deinterlacing: JES Deinterlacer
Editing: Final Cut Pro and Magic Bullet Looks.
Shot with a poor man's steadycam (http://steadycam.org/).

  • I thought this was going to be a music video... That's good.

  • @MattJWilkins Yes, but not in progressive mode. You need to shoot in 60i, then deinterlace the footage so you get a 60p. Watch my ultra slow-motion videotutorial ;)

  • What equivalence to JES deinterlace for Windows? I can't seem to find anything that does the job... :(

  • @darkdevinci Hi there! iMovie should handle that with no problems, and export with a good quality. But of course if you use Log & Transfer you'll be able to choose your setting and import using ProRes that is a great codec. If you can, use Final Cut ;)
