@FruitySquerrle26 devon rex's as a breed are not allowed outside, because they get themselves hurt, stolen or killed. theyre not just "any cat" so the owner NEEDS to put it on a leash to keep it from running away. they are doing the right thing, i know it seems odd, but I own a Devon Rex and fully understand why! you also cannot let a devon rex outside over night, particularly in summer or winter because of their very short fur and often bald head, they either get sun stroke or die from the cold

Kudos to you! My Psyrus looks just like your Devon - only Psy will be 14 yrs old this year! He's still spry and chats just the same - over the years he and I have built up a communication where we both understand certain things....too funny! Psyrus has become very BLACK in the face over the years, although he looked very much like your Dev...keeping kitty inside is a VERY responsible duty; you are doing right! Tah!

I never let my cats outside to wander, there's so many dangers outside. It is my job to keep them happy and play with them and provide exciting adventures to my cats indoors. Every responsible cat owner keeps their cats indoors.
If I had a dog, I wouldn't let it out by itself either. Or a horse. Or anything for that matter.
Besides, it is illegal.

Your Devons are lovely and what super coats they have. Are they silver tabbies?

They are registered as chocolate tabby tonkinese mask but their coats have developed since kittenhood and I should really go to a show and get their colours corrected. But I don't go to shows, I don't even like cat shows, so I'll let them be :)
Thank you for the compliment!
