This is the best bass cover for Billie Jean on youtube.

Everyone plays it with the riff starting on D4 instead of E2 like you played it. You should write the tabs.

How did you mix the vocals and your bass so well?

@cgambarrotti Wow, thanks! It's been a while since I've played this but the tabs wouldn't be that tough to figure out again, so maybe I'll do that.

As far as mixing, I just listened to the song on my headphones while I played and recorded the bass with a condenser mic in front of my cab, then mixed the bass track and video I recorded with the song track inside iMovie, just tweaking volume levels until it sounded right.

Good playing keep up the good work and practice keeping a groove. I would suggest drumming to help with keeping a groove. Try listening to the beat more than focusing on the notes, let them play by themselves. Andre
