  • @rlscacr

    I think it works!

  • they comme in algeria at 4 years, they are like us

  • Saw them together live in Manchester and still unconvinced about whether it works. Im just not sure... Interesting idea though.

  • j'adore ce mélange oriental et occidental

  • tinariwen are a group from mali not algeria ;)

  • english+algeria : good

  • I guess not everyone can appreciate the beauty that this style of music can offer. I am big fan of Tinariwen for years & this song ROCKS. Having heard Tunng and love their unorthodox style, I thought they did a great job of combining their song with Tinariwen. Tinariwen added an echo element which complimented the song.

& dddrum......Dont need to hear stuff that you dont like. Its called choice & you should try it sometimes. This was you dont have to bicth.

  • @ham33samwiches: then, of course, a Tunng fan very much like me might post a complaint very much like:

Not a hint of 'real' Tunng -- could be better if people who are named after meat could understand how collaboration works, and figure out why "Tunng WITH Tinariwen" is going to sound somewhat more like Tunng than Tinariwen, something that they seem to have no problem with, so why don't you meat namesakes take your [TUAREG WORD]s, stick them [TUAREG WORDS], and [TUAREG WORD] them vigorously?!?

  • Not a hint of 'real' Tinariwen -- could be better if the song was in Tuareg language and backing vocals (loop) was in English.

    Tinariwen + English = Fail.
