You can never erase a culture totally. You can destroy the external part of it, the cities you can destroy the codices, but what you cannot destroy is the resilience of the human spirit.

Wrong. A culture can certainly die or be destoyed. The ancient paintings in Caves are all that's left of the very first cultures, everywhere. You can end a culture...but the ART remains, whether pyramids or churches.
