@skyeblue229 I feel the same way. My sister fosters abused dogs to get them ready for adoption, but then she went and kept one. I would love to help out greys, my family adopted 2, brothers who'd been separated and then reunited, but it would be so hard to let them go. Perhaps if I didn't keep them at my house but worked with a rescue organization that would be easier. Greys are the sweetest dogs in the world.

Soo beautiful. I love greyhounds they are amazing, I used to have a own a rescue greyhound and she lived till she was 16 years old she was so wonderful, I grew up with her.

Thank you, but really it's mostly my parents - I'm in college and no pets are allowed :o(
However I've already informed our rescue that when I graduate and settle in a house I want two hounds of my own and I will definitely foster for them. I couldn't imagine not having these dogs in my life.

Well done Lindsay. It is so hard to foster and we break our hearts each time we say goodbye but if we didn't foster we couldn't save the next galgo (spanish greyhound) to go to someone special. Please try to continue to foster. You are one of a very few. Gail

My family had two greyhounds, but we unfortunately had to put one to sleep a year ago - he had some sort of aneurism, but he was 10 and had a good stay here.
Now we still have one greyhound, and are currently fostering another for the rescue we help with.
After someone adopts him, we will probably foster another.

I'd love to foster, but I don't know if I could let them go! I fall in love with every greyhound!
