BMW SauberF1.06 Nordschleife Lap on rFactor

On 28th April 2007 Nick Heidfeld will drive the BMW SauberF1.07 round the Nordschleife. This will be the first time an F1 car has been round the full circuit in 31 years and, although not officially timed, it is expected to beat the current offical lap record of 6min 11sec set by Stephan Belof in a Group C Porsche. Even with a spin I manage 5min 55sec and I'm far from flat out. Only time will tell by how much he betters the lap, but it is sure to be spectacular and a once in a life time experience.

Yeah I'm first to admit it's not the fastest lap. I was trying to go for a vague bit of realism due to the fact Heidfeld wasn't going to go for absolute broke. Will have to have a look at the LeMans classic mod. Sounds good :)

Good game, but I prefer the PS3 game f1 championship edition, much better graphics (on my full hd screen) and better sound to. But I think the gameplay of rfactor is better (didnt play it)

Mm i did also a 5:55.751. This was in my second try on the track really hardly know the track.. have no setup so i think i can do easy in a 4 min

Mike I've read your argument with the uneducated twit and I think I ought to put things into perspective.

#1: I lapped this track/car combo last night with an xbox 360 controller in 5:46.9

#2: I Qualified on pole ahead of you at full throttle in November.

Therefore I've concluded that I'm categorically without question fastest driver of all time. Amen.

Seriously though, cool video, never realised you were into rFactor, thought the only one was Steve P who plays... NASCAR 2003... ugh.
