Laura's second state gymnastics competition. She was a level 4 gymnast at the time this video was taken (turned eight years old two days before her competition day). State champ on floor, bars, beam and all-around.

that bar routine was beautiful. never seen 1 better sane with the beam routine. i also was a beam champion at state with a 9.6 but i was in level 3 now im in level 4 she did a wonderful job. i assume she placed on everything. also its amazing that she got a 9.9 on floor!!!!! ive never seen such a high score. wat level is she in now???? i still cant believe how beautiful those routines were. amazing. i hope i can be that good at state this year. :)

awesome ,i did this and stoped in level 5 ...i never liked the vault, and ur really good at it, ur good at all of the events

Her floor looed great but i did spot the mistakes she did but this video will help me alot with next year. and i bet if i didnt look at her level 3 state meet video i wouldn't have gotten 1st on floor, thanks you so much!

great feeling huh? My little boy just won the Level 4 Louisiana state championship. He took 4 individual titles and the All Around. He got the second highest AA score of the whole meet, all levels. So proud of him. Congrats to your girl!!

it looked absolutely perfect to me. Her knees separate VERY slightly on the handstand-bridge,(when her feet hit the floor) that might be where the deduction came from, though i think (technically) the feet and knees are allowed to be slightly separated. i have never seen a more perfect level four routine. This child is amazing! Regardless of where the deduction came from, it was obviously very minor...they should have just given her the 10.0. HER HARD WORK DESERVES IT!!

Can anyone tell me where exactly they took the deduction on her floor mark - I can't see anything to deduct for! Super Job. Well done.
