Rant: Zero Tolerance in Schools

One bitter memory of mine was when I was taking a test in jr high. the kid next to me was copying off me but I didn't notice. The teacher saw and we both got 0, him for coping and me for "letting him".

@neverchris ZT exists because they got sick of all the parents who are always whining about their kid being picked on. Why can't my son have an earring? Why can't my daughter go bra-less? When the kid is failing a class, the school can't find the parent to save their life. But if the school takes away the kid's earring, that parent is up at that school quicker than shit. They are trying to teach--they don't have time to dedicate their lives to each silly case.

When I was in 3rd grade, my friend and I were bored so we got on the playground and tossed little rocks at a pole. We got in school suspension for throwing rocks even though we weren't hurting anyone.

I got kicked out of school for 5 days cause I threw a bottle at someones foot that he hit me with and he got nothing D=/
