There is a "Weed" demo (by the same team iirc) that has similar, but even better color part.

i dont't think so... the whole demo is precomputed to bunch of 2D vectors. no real 3D stuff there.

Despues de ver esta demo me he quedado muy "roto" al ver como han desafiado la limitación del uso de colores en el spectrum,el audio no se queda corto tampoco :) muy bueno!

Yes, it`s a standart 128K ZX-Spectrum.

what sort of spectrum hardware we looking at here - just a 128k? no sam coupe or anything like that - thats a bit unbelievable for a standard spectrum 128

ZX Spectrum hardware allow only 2 colors per 8x8 pixel block. With thick black lines they managed to hide this limitation.

Because those thick lines makes it look like ink and art. It hides the low resolution just beautifully.
