Its nice to see artists with real talent doing covers. Feist is definitely a true musician and the people that she chooses to work with are diverse. The more I see/hear her, the more I respect her musical identity.

This woman is a reincarnation of 2 favs of mine...in style. They're men, so, I'll refrain from naming the artists...I don't wish to spoil it. :)

Feist recorded "Somewhere" for the soundtrack to Ethan Hawke's "The Hottest State", a record comprised entirely of songs written by Jesse Harris (author of the ubiquitous Norah Jones hit, "Don't Know Why" for which he won the 2003 'Song of the Year' Grammy.), as interpreted by Willie Nelson, Cat Power, Bright Eyes, Norah Jones, M. Ward, Emmylou Harris, The Black Keys, Tony Scherr & Feist, among others.
