Atheists aren't that bad. This is NOT an argument for atheism... It's a defense of atheists.

This video received the award for "Excellence in Humanist Communications" from the Harvard University Humanist Chaplaincy.

James Randi said this video was "very cool!"

Michael Shermer said it was "very impressive."

Penn & Teller said, "If a god existed, this video would make him wish he were dead."

Dan Barker (author of "Losing Faith in Faith") said it was "very creative and powerful" and that it "makes a GREAT point!"

Greg Epstein (the Humanist Chaplain of Harvard University) said "it's a wonderful video!"

Stephen Ulh (author of "Imagine No Superstition") said that this video was "just wonderful for the cause of atheism."

Nobelief.com said this was "the best video of 2006."

NOTE- It has been brought to my attention that Marlon Brando, Mark Twain, and Susan B. Anthony are not atheists. I looked into it, and my original sources were wrong. Sorry.

Lastly, I am pleased to see how much debate this video has sparked, and I encourage everyone that wants to, to join in. HOWEVER, spamming will not be tolerated. Nor will racist, sexist, or other mean comments. Such behavior is not conducive to good conversations, and users who do not act accordingly will be blocked. Most of these people identify as agnostics rather than atheists even though the title of the video is "atheist." That's misleading.

Asimov identified himself as an atheist, as does Chomsky, Crick describes himself as agnostic with a strong inclination towards atheism, Curie was, Dawkins definately is an atheist, Dennett is, Edison was an atheist, or at most a pantheist, etc. Go research the topic.

@Ujikaweapon1 go research my reply. I didn't say there were no atheists on that list, I said most (that means greater than 50%) don't/didn't identify as atheists. Even if a few non-atheists were on the list, that would be misleading. And Edison was not an atheist nor a pantheist. He was a deist.

Also, Edison was a pantheist. He believed nature and god were identical and rejected notions of a personal god of doctirine. If he was a deist, he would believe a god created nature, which is not what the evidence suggests.
