I will remember you, Dad!

My dad unexspectly died february 27, 2009. This my story of that day. It was a cold feburary morning. It was a normal morning. Wake up, get dressed, get the kids ready, and go to work! As i was driving to work. I got a call from Ann ( my dads wife). What i didn't know was this call was not just a... "Hello, how you doing, hunny ! This was a call that change our whole familys lives. Ann says " Your dads having a heartattack!" " We are on the way to the hospital right now in a ambulance!" "I'm on my way, right now!" i said. I took a straight shot though orono, 20 minutes from Bangor, Maine. I drove fast but in denial of what was happening. Thinking, on the way to the hospital, to many spicy foods, Mybe! This is all a bad dream, i'll wake up! I finally arrived at the hospital 20mins later. I ran to the emergency room. Where nurses sent me to the family room. My grammy, my dads mom, was their and my dads wife, Ann! Later more and more people showed up.
Shanni, my stepsister, and i later ask if we can go see our dad. We slowly walked to the room took a deep breath and opened the curtain. There was my dad! Lying there in the hospital bed. I couldn't believe this was real! Doctor and nurses were in the middle of trying to save is life! I was thinking this is the last minutes of his life! I was sad but proud to be there for my dad! Even though this might be his last breathes. There where times they brought him back to us! Shani and i stood there crying and praying to God. LET HIM LIVE, PLEASE! As we held each other and prayed for him to live. We went to his bedside to talk to him! " Wake up!" Shani says! "Wake up, buddy!" I walked to his bedside to let him know i was there too! "Come on dad, wake up, please! We continued to talk to him, crying! After a while they called his time of death. "Shani, they stopped! He is gone! i said. We cryed our hardest. After a few minutes we pulled ourself together. We still had a room full of loved one to tell! As Shani and i walked to family room, hand and hand. Shani and i opened the door to the room. Shani said "Mom, hes gone! Ann fell to pieces before us! Right then and there i know how many and much people realy loved my dad!
Everyone was crying but left the room to call the rest of the family that didnt know! Only Ann a nurse and i stayed in the room with her trying to comfort her.
Later, i left the family room to get ahold of Amy, my sister. She didn't know he had just passed away! When she arrived at the hospital. I had to tell her that dad died. She sat down to the nearest chair to cry! That day will always affect eveyone he know and loved him. Untill we meet him again in heaven! Everyone lost someone that day! My dad was a friend, grampy, uncle, son, and a husband! We will all miss him very much! Thank you, everyone for loving dad so much! POEM: Our lives will be different. Our hearts will be broken. We tryed to be strong as you passed on. Knowing one day when its our time to go. We will all know where you'll be. You'll be on the other side to greet us with a smile. You'll pull up your pants even though you have a belt. Puff out your chest, swing your arms, as you walk toward me. To grab my hand to show me heaven. We will all have to ask you to do one more thing. Before we all have to say goodbye. Say hello to all our loved ones we have lost up there. To watch over our little ones, down here, from up there. Now that you have wings, you can fly in our dreams, to make us laugh in our dreams.

my dads dad died last night of a heart attack and we r all in a right state and i went 2 school but came home again and my sister went on a residental this morning when he died and she is going 2 be away untill wednesday and i am sooooooooooo sad and crying :'(
