Stanley Kubrick died too early in his career. The guy has never made a dud.

One of Kubrick's great underrated movies. Second behind Dr. Strangelove IMO

Kubrick has the greatest WWI movie of his time (Paths of Glory), The greatest world war 2 movie of his time (Dr. Strangelove), the greatest ancient war film (Spartacus) and the greatest vietnam war film (Full Metal Jacket). What he doesn't have is A FUCKING OSCAR! for any of those legendary films.

to quote a review from RYM: He(Spielberg) shows his public nothing but outright lies but every his lie is hyped to the degree that people going to watch his movie naively and sincerely believe they will see the ultimate revelation.

SPR it's just a crowd pleaser, a joke compared to movies like Come and see and the Human Condition trilogy,

Barry Lyndon looks like painting all the way. Beautiful movie.

Eyes Wide Shut is garbage. No point, no plot.

Lets see if 20 years from now they say its masterpice.

The most underrated ones i can think it's Barry Lyndon (released between some of the best movies ever) and Eyes Wide Shut...

But no way Strangelove is underrated...

Hard to believe this is based on real events. So sick

I'd definitely agree with that. He died just before he was about to start filming a new movie about Napoleon. It would have been incredible!
