It is not a good idea to leave the plug out of the hot water heater. that will leave an opening for bugs to get in. dirt dobbers would love that.

Really good job explaing things, we have a Lance slide in, I drain the pipes but no air flush yet. Suppose to get 29 tonight.

Very informational. Thanks. This will be our first year with a small Jayco and you brought up some good pointers.

@boycottRAVENISE00 I would probably see about getting a heat tape for your water line, as I'm sure it really gets cold up there. Hopefully that would help to keep the water from freezing, I would also get some of the blue or pink foam board insulation, and cut them to fit under the edge of the RV to try and keep cold drafts out from under it. Bring a ladder to get snow off of the roof in case there is a heavy snowfall...so you don't ice damn on the roof.
I'm sure there are other tips too.

Good to know. Thanks

That's a nifty camper. Wow. I never thought about how you'd have to winterize one of those. Looks like it'd be a lot of fun to travel with, no hotel bills. Cheers!
Great video. I’m curious about that adapter you came up with to go from what appears to be a tire inflator to the city water inlet threading. It looks like you had some sort of rubber compression fitting in there or something. Anything you can share would be appreciated.
