@hgirl2255 that's actually not true. It's an old myth that has been dispelled. When the crabs get scared back into their shell they sometimes land upside down.

@kennycantdie67 They only pinch when they're afraid of falling, so as long as you keep it secure and your hand flat it'll be fine. Expert's tip: lie down on the ground and hold it, that way it won't be able to fall. You can just lie flat and have it crawl on (or off LOL) you!
If you're concerned still, wear gloves. Just make sure your hands are always clean (wash them before handling) and if it DOES pinch you, DO NOT run it under water. Just place your hand flat on the ground & be patient.
