The purpose of this video is to demonstrate the acoustic qualities of the Collings City Limits Jazz guitar.
The #1 question i'm asked is how does this guitar sound acoustically.......i hope this video will give people interested in this guitar a better feel for it's acoustic qualities.
The strings on the guitar for this video are D'Addario EJ21 (what Collings shipped the guitar with) 12-52 - bright round wound.
Unfortunately what this video cannot do is allow you to feel the vibrations this guitar produces, it's wonderful playability and the incredible neck carve.
As of the date of this video Collings has built less than 30 of these guitars....this is #17.
Below are the specs from the Collings site. Thanks for taking time to watch & listen to this wonderful model from Collings.

wow sounds amazing. are all hollow-body guitars this versatile? can they all play this well unplugged? if so, i need to get one. i need a warmer tone for my electric and it'd be nice to play unplugged to and be loud enough.

thanks for taking your time to listen! This is a very special and versatile guitar for sure, and i do think some archtops have a great acoustic quality and voice....in fact that's how some are played - without any pickup. They are a different style of guitar for sure and i think you will enjoying putting a few in your hands!
best,
