  • Hi, great video. If you have to replace wires to a arcade push button what type of wire would you use?

  • fiatbravodriver,

We recommend using 18 to 22 gauge braided wire. This is the wire that you typically find on a standard JAMMA harness.

We have also featured your question on episode 4 of our Q&A podcast. Please listen to it on our site for more of our thoughts on this question.

  • Thanks for the video. Whats the best way to connect the wires to the actual microswitch prongs? Should I feed and twist? Solder? Disconnects?

    Thanks!

  • We typically use Quick Disconnect Terminals. This makes it easy to replace the microswitch should it go out. You can order them from The Real Bob Roberts.

  • My MK2 Cabinet has four buttons in a row inside the coin door. One says credit, two are volume up and down and the last says test. The only two buttons that work are the volume. I checked the wiring and it looks ok. Is there a way to test it to see if it is the buttons that are bad or a problem in the wiring somewhere? Don't want to replace the buttons and find out that doesnt fix it.

    Thanks for the helpful videos.

  • LOL when you push up

  • Sorry cant find the link to the podcast anywhere on the site?
