Adding A Securing Loop: GoPro Mounting Tips & Tricks

For all of you with a GoPro this is a Must See Video!

In this video I show how to add a securing loop to the back of the GoPro camera. This is really useful if you ever want to a tie a securing lanyard to your camera. This is great if you want to use your GoPro for Water sports or any time when a mount frailer would result in the loss of your GoPro Camera

Thanks Kyle. Just got a Hero2 for my ski trip to Alaska. I was wondering about this and now I don't have to figure it out myself. I have a GoPro LCD BacPac on my GoPro this can be bought and added to any GoPro HD HERO Camera it is about $100. If you search for GoPro LCD BacPac you can find out a lot more about them.

Is this the first hero? I just got the hero2 and it already had a string wrapped around that opening.

Yes this was the GoPro HERO1. My new GoPro HERO2 also came with a string wrapped around that spot. I would use that string with the knot that I showed to make a great securing loop.
