Misinformation here. I used to work at Burger King and we never put MSG on the patties. Unless the MSG is already in the meat, we never added anything to them. They just go through the broiler. Oh we also toast the buns on the broiler as well.
So yeah, your burgers are nothing like BK burgers.

Lots of MSG, lots of salt, lots of imitation processed cheese?? you actually feed this stuff to your kids?. it is one thing grown adults screwing their bodies up with saturated fat, sugars and sodium but come on kids don't deserve to be put on the heart attack list by their own parents, we wouldn't buy them cigarettes would we? so why introduce them to a world of ba digestion, heart disease and numerous incurable cancers. And I clicked because I wanted to get tips on big thin burgers.

There's no MSG in Burger King's beef whatsoever. It's all in the chicken.
Do you notice alot of difference without the smg ?
Never tried it...
Thanks for the video!

@NapoleonRaffa. MSG and salt combined with the sheered meat (producing nitrites) give BK burgers their unique flavor. You can buy MSG under the label "Accent" amongst others brands usually located by the rest of the seasoning salts and spices at your grocers. Personally, I don't like MSG or too much salt but my kids do. I do like to sheer meat but usually slow cook it afterwards but that's just me...

@EricChanning7
Thank you very much for the info !
Found some MSG online. How much msg do you use in your burgers?
Do you mix it in the meat together with the salt?
Thanks again!

@NapoleonRaffa "Accent" (MSG) is available in more grocery stores. Maybe a gram of Accent and a gram of salt per quarter pound of cooked meat I would guess but it's the intense "flame kiss" that makes the nitrates on the surface of the fatty meat with the burning of the MSG and Salt that give is that BK flavor.

@JSick978 It's most likely preblended in the seasoning salt or premixed with the beef. They are pretty well known users of it as are most fast food restaurants, especially in fried foods. MSG and derivatives go by many names. I did a quick search and found one site that might explain it better.
