Hi, This is Part One of a two-part series. in this video I show you how to blow dry your hair to minimize heat damage and breakage. I also tell you about the shampoos and conditioners I use as well as how to use a flat or straightening iron on your hair to minimize heat damage. I've gotten so many requests for how I blow dry and style my hair since I uploaded by Proper Hair Washing Video for Long Hair. If you haven't checked it out yet, please do. Be sure to click on Part Two of my Blow Dry Your Hair videos to see how I finish this series. I hope you will find this video helpful in assisting you with preventing heat and drying damage to your hair thus allowing it to grow long and healthy. Thanks for viewing. Your comments are much appreciated and please subscribe because I have lots more to come!!

  • YouTips4U , Do you have any tips for medium length and thick hair?

  • @TrishLoverStratus Hi, I think thick hair is beautiful. If you are looking to reduce the thickness and weight, you can cut layers or texturize your hair. This should be done at a salon by a stylist. Do not try to texturize your hair yourself.

  • What kind of brand of highlights do you use for your hair? Do you have a video for how to do it? I'm thinking of getting light blonde highlights because I have dark blonde hair. I think your beauty tutorials are the best on youtube, so I just wanted to check with "the best" before I try anything. ;)

Ps. Your hightlights look very flattering on your hair. :)

  • @mangokitty13 Hi, thanks so much for your kind words of support and your terrific feedback. I'm so glad you are enjoying my videos! I do have a highlight your own hair video uploaded. It actually has quite a few parts. In it I show you what I use and how I do it. I use Kaleidocolors by Clairol in Azure usually with a 30 or 40 volume lift and applied with foils. Please check out the videos, I think you will find them helpful.

  • @YouTips4U Thanks for the tips you amazing

  • Hi, I usually blow dry my hair every time I wash it, except in the summer months, I let it air dry frequently because it dries quickly, although it will be very wavy. As you saw in my video, I do not blow dry my hair until it is completely dry, but only until I have removed about 1/2 the moisture. This helps to protect it. You are right to be careful with blowdrying because it is drying as is using a flat iron. Only use them when necessary.

  • wrapping your hair like that in a towel causes breakage. Thats what I read. :) just letting you know. I love your hair

  • Hi, please see my video on dandruff. I think you will find it very helpful.
