A PIC16F628A based controller board with a 8 bit LED driver connected to a LED array. A ULN2803 chip is used to drive the LEDS. The board can be powered by a 10-24vdc supply. The board has its own 5v regulator for the PIC and also has pins to program the PIC. 5 pins are available that can be connected to switches for various LED effects. The LED array consists of two 6 led columns connected to each pin of the 8 bit port. The demo video cycles through several patterns.
Nice work.
