tell me one thing the first step which is already done when the video started...does the basic step includes the making of pleats as well... what we do to a normal saree...does bengali saree includes pleats as well..

In the basic step, we dont make any pleats. The sareee is just draped like that. Then as you can see in second step pleats are done to set the pallu neatly. So all in all no pleats for Bengali Saree.

Can anyone Answer please , me confused , DO only married women wear saree ? My mom who is a sikh tells I can't wear one cause I am 18 not married , but I really want to cause I hate suits, plalors , this is like a dress almost, but I don't show my stomach , so would it be oky to wear a strapless top or tasnk underneath ?

As regards your concern regarding wearing the saree, would like to tell you that please be comfortable while wearing the saree, there is no age bar for the same. It is the most ethnic wear that any woman can ever have.

@seedzer You could make the point where you wrap your sari first on your body, directly under your choli/blouse and not have to display your stomach.

first the sari choosen was wrong for a bengali type sari...second...i think shes decided that bollywood bong style sari wearing is what all bengalis wear....plz tutor ur self well first...i almost forgot how to wear the sari bengali style myself seeing this vid........

very wrong type of saare chosen for the bong drape... u will never find bongs wearing these uber glittery sarees... though she draped it well... but seriously...shud have used a cotton "tant" saare for this..

My mum put my shari on Bangladeshi style on my gaye holud but I ended up looking like a melon..... =\
