This was a finalist in Anime Expo's 2006 contest in the Action category. Later it won best action at Anime Los Angeles 2007.
It uses footage from Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex and "Before I'm Dead" by Kidneythieves. Kidneythieves did the music for the second Deus Ex video game.

Motoko rocks. Ghost in the shell rocks. The ideas behind it are spectacular, the phylosophical and existencial questions make this series even more valuable. But its plain MEAN to by so ridiculously hot when got such a temper. =)

@GuilleOrochi Being a cyborg doesn't make you non-human. In order to be a cyborg, you require biological parts. her Brain is the only organ she has left. If you actually paid attention to the show (the part when she kicks her doctor's ass) She still has a biological brain. If she didn't she'd be considered an android since the rest of her body is mechanical. A bio-roid is an android with external human components, but with a mechanical brain. Even Togusa has a cyber brain.

Sad, but it looks like they pulled the sound. I don't dispute that Kidneythieves owns the rights to their own work, so if they don't want it in this video, I can hardly dispute it.
