George Romney was a prominent politician during the civil rights era, and Mitt was trying to say that his family has never bought into some of the ancient texts in Mormon doctrine about black people that sound and feel very racist. - John Gibson, Fox News
Why give the Romney family a pass on this. "Ancient texts", are you kidding? The Mormon religion and all its writings are less than 200 years old. The LDS barred Blacks from some rites and rituals until 1978. Hardly ancient!
