My Love for The Phantom of the Opera:

So, I made this video for an audition for the first group of the Phantom of the Opera on youtube(Tears of Hate)*
I would like to enter with all my heart because I love this movie, book, show, etc...
I know the history of the phantom of the opera since I was a child and year after year my passion for this story has grown, till the 2004 movie with Gerard Butler and Emmy Rossum came out.
I am a big fan of the couple Erik / Christine and I based on them many of my stories and videos.
I watched almost all movies that are based on the Phantom of the Opera, from the 1925 silent film to the one with Charles Dance, or the one with Robert Englund and many many others (including the various cartoon versions ^ _ ^)
I read the book by Gaston Leroux and the book by Susan Kay which I totally love.
While reading Susan Kay's book I cried whenever Erik cried, I laughed when he laughed...I was Erik in those moments(I felt him near me)
I think that he is one of the greatest characters ever created (and for that I thank Gaston Leroux)
This summer I will go to see for the first time the show in London's West End:)
after seeing billions of videos on youtube, finally I can see it live!
This winter I went to visit Paris' Opera House too:)
One of my favourites Erik is Michael Crawford, one of the greatest singers I know. I have a passion for Sarah Brightman (the first Christine) too .
I hope you understood how much I love the Phantom of the Opera ...
for me is not just a story, is reality...and I think that sooner or later I'll meet Erik (or perhaps his soul) in the underground of Paris' Opera House, in Heaven or wherever his love for Christine has taken him(I'm sure he's with her now).
So, I can say that I'm a PHAN ... well, I leave you to judge ^____^

And remember...Erik is not truly dead. He lives on within the souls of those who choose to listen to the music of the night

*The name of the group comes from a Christine's line "The tears I might have shed for your dark fate
Grow cold, and turn to TEARS OF HATE..."
...I love/hate this line...I understand why Christine says it: Erik was her angel, her only help in a cruel and lonely life, but now he has betrayed her...in the moment he tries to hang Raoul (with his famous Magical Lasso) she knows that all the pity she felt for him was vain.
In fact The line explain very well what Erik had to endure throughout his life and also all the pain Erik caused Christine...the hard choice she must make...Erik or Raoul?...her angel, teacher, her mature love or her friend, her young and fresh love?
A difficult choice for her....but (sadly, for me) at the end she chooses Raoul, knowing that a life with Erik is impossible for her.
