In a sense, disco constricts a band like Quo - check out John Coghlan, he doesn't have a great deal to do. But as every lover of disco music knows, that beat is like iambic pentameter was to Shakespeare. It doesn't constrain you, it actually takes you to creative places you'd never go otherwise. This still sounds like rock'n'roll and has a lot of power despite the formality of the disco arrangement - and those lyrics - modus-operandi indeed!!!
