The Star Spangled Egyptian Queen. Read the liner notes to learn the truth:

Born in Egypt, Cleopatra inherited the throne upon her father, The King's, death. She became Queen of Egypt. She had one younger brother and one youngest sister. Her brother was a Warrior Prince. Stories of incest and internal family conflict are false. The long bloodline for this Noble Family was of Greatness; One of the three most powerful Dynasties recorded in Ancient History. Cleopatra was Married To Mark Anthony, who lead the Egyptian Army. She forged an alliance with Julius Caeser of Rome, and charted a course to ensure that Egypt remain the Cornerstone of Civilization. Stories of an affair with Caeser were also untrue. When Caeser died, Cleopatra lost a valuable ally; When Egypt did not win the War that followed, her plans were dashed. Cleopatra did not commit suicide, but did have to surrender the throne.

Cleopatra was a visionary. Her goal was to have alliances with both Greece and Rome, and work toward establishing a Democracy in Egypt, as well as supporting Modern Progress, with Egypt at the forefront. Had Caeser remained alive, she would have been able to advance with her plans as far as the era could perceive. Unfortunately, Octavius Augustus, Ruler of Rome after Caeser's death, was not open to Cleopatra's ideas the way that Julius Caeser was, and was set for an alternate course. Thus, Rome's direction swayed.

Cleopatra felt the need to act quickly upon Caeser's death, but instead, there was delay. Events may have worked out for the better had Cleopatra's instincts been honored. Egypt was more powerful with Rome as an ally. Egypt was at war with a Southern African Monarchy that did not perceive the same direction for Africa. Perhaps the weight of this upset is where the 'suicide' myth came from.

Stories of a love affair with Mark Anthony being more powerful than Cleopatra's goals for Egypt, are false. An ancient literary work glorified that romance. Cleopatra's true passion was Egypt.

Cleopatra had the determination, personal will and power to lead an army herself if she had to. But there was no way to foresee losing the War. She believed Egypt would be victorious. The ancient hub of original civilization, had fallen.
