@dondycluck speedbrakes going up. they are armed before landing so they go up just at touchdown.

@dondycluck Its the speedbrake lever moving to the extend position... its set to ARM before landing which automatically deploys the speedbrakes once the wheels touch down...

@dondycluck It's the sound of the automatic spoilers being deployed. The little motor or mechanism that moves the speed brake lever makes a loud noise.

The last plane I've flown in was before I turned into an Aviation nerd which was a couple a months ago, and I still remember the days when I didn't care what plane I flew on and played language learning games.
