I'm wishing they had had Charlie imagining his parents coming to comfort him... like Ally McBeal often imagined Billy come to visit her and comfort her.. It would have been cool to see what their parents looked like and this would have been a great time for them to come to the kids in daydreams.

i hve had cancer twice it sucks
-
griffin is nice and all but i can't stop hating him for breaking julia and justin apart.

I love this episode, breaks my heart every time. If you blame Charlie for being a jerk then you've never known real trauma and fear. THIS is the way most people react. Incredible acting by Matthew Fox.

Sarah and Kristen seem to be the best at dealing with the situation but I guess that is because they're outsiders.

@Sonakutty BUT THEN AGAIN...no one knew who to blame or to get mad at, except each other.
-
@Sonakutty because he has crappy judgment which makes him... AN ASSHOLE!!!

Bailey is a complete arse to Sarah, not just about the whole cancer subject with Charlie but even through season 2-3 he has been the biggest prick to her even when they were dating. Not being biased but if you were lucky enough to date someone like Sarah you sure wouldn't act an arse. So, he's cheated on her twice, he has nearly killed her, he has dated sarah's enemie and now, as per usual, he is being a jerk for her giving charlie some banana bread. I feel bad for sarah.

it kinda sucks to be the oldest kid and not have any parents...cause this would be the perfect time for Charlie to have a parent around

@breaks0 - I agree! To be frank and coming from personal experience Bailey's being (not just acting) like a selfish fuck. Sarah did what felt natural and Bailey acted on his jealousy (that Sarah was able to bond a little with Charlie) and fear (of losing his bro). Can't blame Bailey but it's sort of an immature or cowardly move. My boyf acts like this every so often.
this episode was so sad!! and you guys aren't very empathetic of charlie...yeah he was an ass to all of them, but what do you expect? he just found out he had cancer for christ sakes! be a little understanding!

This was actually a pretty good portrayal of someone with cancer, it's the drugs and emotions of dealing with the disease that makes people lash out. I just lost my husband to brain cancer on May 4th and even though he knew people were trying to help he wasn't always nice. They have a lot to deal with.
