Bureaucracy can be a big enough challenge in Russia, even if you're able-bodied, but if you're living with a disability and the nearest form of transport is far away, dealing with it can become a nightmare.
The handicapped infrastructure is a great benefit for the whole of society, especially those with aging populations, confirmed time and again.
Wheelchair accessible lifts and buses; lowered curbsides on streetcorners, ramps in favour of stairs, etc etc all of these have practical benefits even for many persons who are not among the more severely handicapped.
Something for young persons with full health to think about.
Why is the Ruskie media hiding this? There's only like 3 videos about this serious issue! WTF?
