AWESOME video!! I really like your approach, reading both the Quran and the Bible. That is EXACTLY the kind of think I am talking about! It shows that you are a TRUE seeker of truth!! Most Christians would NEVER read the Quran, but then they are only getting half of the story.... Study ALL sides of the story and be honest with yourself to find the most true conclusion. That's my motto! Atheists are guilty of this as well, they are afraid of being wrong. They don't study the other possibilities.

@theprodigy2186 Yes we are all on a journey that we hope leads to greater understanding. We who are truth seekers can only get as close as verisimilitude at best. Yet along the way we do find absolute truths. But these absolutes can only be a piece of a greater puzzle. My journey was to have a belief in God only to reject it and then find I am now back and in need of greater understanding. Even with a system of doubt I also have a strong trust that is also known as faith in certain truths..

@rusty2029 Sounds like the kinda journey I went through. You'd probably enjoy watching a lot of my videos. Specifically "Portrait of a Spiritual Journey" and then "My first out of body experience". You're tackling the big questions from the right place. We must always begin with doubt. I've found some INCREDIBLE things that way... Good luck man!

@qualityrkc I could take a polygraph to show that I truly believe I have a relationship with God. My fellow empiricists I go to Church with could all take the test and get an objective consensus. Yet if you are not open to clues and levels of evidence then you do only end up with yourself. I did not necessarily want to return to Christianity but felt sufficiently called back that I accept and believe. I can't know everything but am open to the clues that I see that are evident.

Prove you have a relationship with god.I can certainly prove i dont.Saying I am in bondage is just arrogant imho.There is a strong argument to be made that by not having to get down on my knees to pray to invisible friends and go to church when i dont want to I am much more free bc I know that my destiny is in my hands and mine alone.My best evidence to you disproving your relationship with a christian god is this.If you were born in pakistan you would be muslim.

@qualityrkc Understand that in order for the God of my understanding to be true then He has been sufficiently visible to enough people that He need not give any further confirmation than He already has. Yet for my empirical group of Christian brothers and sisters we never the less personally experience God's loving grace. Do you think Socrates has communicated sufficiently that we can accept that he existed? Evidence only need be sufficient...

@qualityrkc I think a strong circumstantial case could be made if the jury was truly impartial. ID is only one small cog in the greater sorites of arguments that point to God. But you would not make the jury if you can't accept ID at face value and give the dogma about community acceptance. ID is limited. I guess I can't be on the jury either as I have a personal experience that leads to my acceptance of God.  See my video in praise of Parkland Hospital.

@qualityrkc Not derived only by pure faith but also in a personal relationship with God and our fellow brothers and sisters in Christ. We have objective experience of the influence and power of our Loving Father. The problem of evil you talk of is answered in the book of Job and Plantinga's free will defense. I grant that there is an evil agent that would like you literally and metaphorically see no God. This evil agency has you in bondage by default. But there is a hope and a way to freedom

@qualityrkc so my point is that if god was ever visible, whether it be literal or metaphorical,then yes the burden of proof would certainly be on the atheists. Do you understand where I am coming from?I just want you to know that the only belief system i psubscribe to is the belief that there are some things we just can't know yet.I disagree with all organized religions but who knows if there is a god or not.ANSWER:nobody I can see where all sides are coming from.
