In this country we have vegans, vegetarians, paleo-foodists, atkins-dieters, south beach dieters, and people who eat whatever they want. Some of them are overweight while others are perfectly healthy. Should a thin person be taxed more simply because they like bacon while the overweight vegetarian pays less eating all the bread and pasta they want? The problem with a law like this is that it's based on the idea that "one diet fits all." Anyone with a functioning brain knows this isn't true.

forget fatty tax.. i have a good metabolism so im good.. i eat sooo much and im still skinny.. im in the US too.. but u kno why? CUZ I TAKE CARE OF MY BODY I DONT JUST EAT AND PLAY VIDEO GAMES ALL DAY

I really don't think it is a good idea to try and control what people eat. If people want to screw up their life and get fat that's their problem. Taking away someone's freedom is wrong.
