well this did come out before lion king (in japan)

it was in the 1960s an an older cartoon,

another version was made in the 1970s as him as an adult with cubs, this version was a remake in the 1980s (released in english in the us in 1997)

and the 1970s ver was remade as a movie in 1997

There should be jap episodes looming around here in youtube but I think no one has bothered to sub them.

I hate the dubbing company. They stopped dubbing after 13 episodes. Just when the show was starting to get good. If anyone has the remaining episodes please PLEASE upload them. I don't care if it is in Japaneese. I want too see more KIMBA.

@SuperGalloot they get older in the movie they have cubs and the mate dies of sickness then kimba dies and is skinned and possibly eaten.
