LIB - Episode 5
*Demi's POV*
Tears filled my eyes .. and i grasped harder onto Joe.
There he was.
Taylor.
His hand we raised up into some girl's shirt.
They were kissing against a wall behind a vending machine.
"I said not to look." Joe whispered.
The tears poured from my eyes as i stuffed my face into Joe's chest.
He held onto me, placing his hands on the back of my head.
"Selena? Are you still there?" he asked.
"Yeah .. im here, Joe. Uhm .. let me take you guys to the nurse's office to get you outta here." Selena replied.
*Selena got Demi and Joe dismissed - Demi is driving home*
"Th-thank you, Joe. You know .. for trying to not make me look." i whispered, trying to get the tears to leave my eyes so i could see straight.
"No problem .. he didnt care anyway." he replied.
I looked over at him.
He was 'looking' at his lap, fiddling with his fingers.
"How d-do you know?" i asked, wiping my eyes with the back of my hand.
"I just know, okay?" he raised his voice a bit.
I nodded as more tears streamed down my cheeks.
"Sorry.." he mumbled, going back to fiddling with his hands.
*At Demi's House*
"Thanks for letting me come home with you, Demi." he said.
I nodded and guided him to the couch.
"No pr-problem." i stuttered, my breathing uneven because of my frequent crying.
"Dont cry." he ordered.
I sat down next to him and let the tears loose into his chest.
"I said not to cry!"
"I'm sorry, sorry, sorry!" i cried, trying to calm myself down.
Why was i so upset?
I didnt care about him .. i guess he didnt care about me either.
Thats what made me more mad than anything.
He lied to me.
But i lied to him.
But still .. he's a liar.
After about 10 minutes of Joe calming me down, we watched TV.
"What is this?" he asked.
"Oh, sorry.. i forgot you were blind." i whispered, turning off the TV.
"No, its fine. Enjoy yourself. Im used to just being here for company."
I looked up at him.
I was sitting between his legs with my head on his chest.
"No .. talk to me." i smiled, closing my eyes and cuddling into his chest.
"Im not very good at talking .. i can sing."
I nodded. "Thats good."
And the voice that came out of that boy was ah-mazing.
You would never guess that he could sing as well as he did.
