I am so compelled to return to his work again and again and again

The way he changes the look of his films to tell new stories involving characters who engage themselves with things that cause destruction

His films deserve to be treasured..I know I do

  • Your mom is a hack. After all, look what she spawned. You are as unlearned, as you are odoriferous. Of the people who should truly be called "hacks" lately, are those who make hugely grossing films devoid of anything other then entertaining the sheeple. Brat "ratface" Rattner and that idiot who directed "300" immediately to mind. But Darren Aronofsky being called a "hack"?? Thats either just humerous shite-stirring, or overwhelming ignorance.

  • Darren is my every day hero!

    I´m a huge fan!

  • I'm very interested to see what he does and no doubt he is a very interesting and unique director. However imo, so far his three movies lack much substance and are merely simple 2-dimensional ideas and meanings complicated for the sake of complication (albeit in an often interesting way). It is a pity though that he has only 3 movies made so far, such films don't get the funding they deserve.

  • i agree. kubrick way up near the top

  • pt anderson is alright, there will be blood was fantastic, though i could not see a distinctive style and expression from the dir.

Lynch fo' shure is great. currently i am likin' The Coen Bros. "No Country For Old Men" was bea utiful
