Hello Ammar. I need some serious help. There are so many different classes, books, videos, and so on that will help you or prepare you to take the PMP exam. I am so confused. I have no idea what to do to prepare myself. I have been a very successful manager wherever I have been employed, but I now need to be certified. I do not want to just be certified but I want to be positively successful in learning what is needed to pass the PMP exam. I basically need an online training program. Any ideas?

Ammar mango, I really appreciate your knowledge sharing spirit, it is a rare quality to find in a person. Thanks for your time and effort, and hopefully in the future I will ask to give couple of presentations to educate and increase the skills of everybody because I believe that knowledge sharing is helping and leading organizations to improve. Many thanks Ammar, Cheers al-mady

Ammarmango, what I am merely saying is, "that this video starts off by saying, "that you need an education, and then you need your certificate. It's suggestive comment, but not a necessity as this video implies, that TO BE successful, you must be educated. One should try to be more general when talking about project management, as there are hundreds of type of projects to manage.

Wonderful :)
thanks for sharing!
Ammarmango, I wasn't arguing with you, in fact I totally agree you and the video, and I really like this video. My personal view is that it is suggestive, and if the world is as rosey and fluffy, then it would work exactly as how the video started, and ended. But the meat is in the middle and that's good enough

I see your point and definitely is a valid one. While this is a generic view of how a career might progress in project management, it is not the only way one can become successful as a project manager.

I don't have milestone #1 or #2 which means I don't have a formal education or certificates. But, I am a project manager earning an annual salary of $350K, and manage million dollar projects. You don't need milestone #1 or #2. It's about you, and your belief in yourself!

Good for you! Congratulations on your success in your career. However just because some people are successful without formal education and certificaiton does not mean that they are not necessary. It is like saying that college education is not needed just because some people are successful without going to college.
