quest i decided to record in a fairly deep dungeon. It was given by Uthistyr Moorwing of the king's mail in oxway (city in daggerfall).

He wanted me to rescue his cousin, barbara hearthsley from the Ruins of Old Gwynyrra's Place and offered me 690 gold to do the job.

I had to cut some parts, such as the journey to the dungeon, and the return trip through it to make it fit the 10 minute limit.

My character is Level 7, he's a Breton swordfighter.

I personally love this game. The music in it fits the locations and times of the game perfectly, the game has spooky atmosphere, very much so in dungeons, there's a giant world with no shortage of places to explore. In fact, if you tried you probably wouldn't be able to cover all the ground in the game for years. the weapons and armor are awesome, the gameplay and fights are very immersive, ditching the typical, "click to slash" gameplay for more player controlled combat by moving the mouse for different slashes.
Compared to this game, oblivion feels like a rail shooter.

This is one of the many games that have proven to me that absorbing gameplay ALWAYS outdoes graphics.
This isn't nostalgia speaking, as i got this game only because i loved oblivion(and morrowind), and wanted to find out about the games roots.

it wont let me attack with my sword i set up the controls and it wont work help please? :C

@jamesm2557 Hold the attack button, and move the mouse from left to right, up/down, diagonally or vise versa. It's not like the other fighting systems, It takes some getting used to, but IMO its my favorite system.

How did you get this game to run? I cant even install it it keeps telling me I don't have enough space for it and I'm using a 1tb hard drive.

@AnarickTheDevil Are you installing it by running install or using DOSBOX? I don't think it detects the drive space right without DOSBOX. If you are, you can do the minimum install and make sure the CD is mounted in DOSBOX every time you play.

@AnarickTheDevil Well, you can make a config, so all you would have to do is load the shortcut and it would just load the game instantly every time, with the CD already mounted. That's what i did.

it took some patience to get use to this game but now that im getting the hang of im having alot of fun lol.. the over complexities are getting easier to deal with and since i figured out how to change the controlls to view mode its sooo much easier to handle.

i think anyone who starte dwith morrowind or oblivion should defenately try this out, and have patience at first cause it might seem overwhelming but you get used to it.

this is the first game i ever bought for my pc back in 1996 and i can clearly say it set the mark for the rest of the rog's you can see the way it is played to move the mouse whilst holdint the atack button reminds me alot of the new kineckt systems of today only back then they didnt have the spevial sensors all we had was a mouse and a keyboard so you could say it was the begining
