Dirt 2 running on 8600m gs 256mb

Horrible gaming laptop almost 3 years old
1440x900
geforce 8600m gs
t5250 15ghz
3gb ddr2 667mhz
hp dv9535nr

I will post another video with overclocked shader to 1500 mhz from 1000mhz and memory from 400 to around 430 mhz

with standard clocks i achieved 26 fps for smooth game play but while recording it drops to around 13 which is why the video is choppy/lagging.

the gpu-z shows shader at (default)1000MHz

i disabled some stuffs in "manage 3D setting" for dirt2.

turned off "antialiasing mode" ;

"max-prerendered frame=4"; 'single display perf.

Vertical sync=off

now the game's running really smooth.

if you confirm the 500MHz stuff, i can try that too :D

What resolution are you running at?

If you want to run it at 1440x900 with no dips in framerate then i reccomend overclcking the shader mine overclocks to 1500 easily but i have the 256mb version so idk if it makes a difference

Overclock as needed and never if you dont have to :)
